Our semi-finished sheet products made of carbon fiber (CFRP) or glass fiber (GFRP) offer an ideal basis for technical applications that place high demands on strength and lightness. They differ in their fiber orientation (unidirectional or 0°/90°), the type of fabric (twill or plain weave) and the layer structure.
To manufacture our technical sheets, we use prepregs, pre-impregnated fiber fabrics or scrims that are processed into stable sheets using a hot pressing process under temperature and pressure. For particularly stressed components, we use purely unidirectional prepregs, which offer particularly high stiffness values with a consistent material thickness due to the long, stretched fiber structure.
Our panels are available in material thicknesses from 0.3 mm to 30 mm and dimensions up to 2,200 x 900 mm. They can be individually machined, including milling, drilling and tapping, and can be assembled or bonded into assemblies on request.
Our CFRP tubes and profiles are known for their outstanding combination of low weight and high stability. They offer flexible, cost-efficient and reproducible solutions for a wide range of applications. We offer three different tube types depending on the mechanical load and intended use:
Our tubes and profiles are available in wall thicknesses from 0.3 mm to 2.5 mm and lengths of up to 2,000 mm. Individual processing such as cutting to length, drilling and milling can be carried out according to customer specifications.
For applications where low weight and maximum strength are crucial, we offer customized sandwich structures. These consist of two cover layers made of carbon fiber or other fiber composites, which are separated from each other by an intermediate layer. The intermediate layer can consist of rigid foam (e.g. ROHACELL), aramid or aluminum honeycomb as well as lightweight wood cores.
By combining different face sheets and core materials, we can cover a wide range of applications. Sandwich structures are ideal for large-scale ultra-lightweight constructions that require high structural integrity with minimal weight. Our flexible production processes make it possible to design these semi-finished products according to your specific requirements.
